Don't throw away your gift cards!!!

I always get the most beautiful cards from my friends and family. Whether they be opening nights, birthdays or thank you notes; they all have such beautiful art, design and character to them. I couldn't imagine throwing them out, but keeping them locked up in a memory box wasn't making me happy either. So, I decided to make some art with them;

 I love framing them in these simple 4x6 frames that I found at Dollarama. You can swap them in and out as much as you like. And the cute notes friends have written are still inside, so when I do switch them, I can have a little surprise.

 Another Frame one, but I doubled it up adding a splash of colour with a tiny card that came with a bouquet of flowers.

This is actually the cover of my latest journal (work in progress) but I loved this care free girl on a swing.

This last one is a collage in my office. I have a couple cards layered in, some tickets from shows that really inspired me, a piece of string from an art project I made in Argentina and my favourite part is a line I cut out from a magazine that says;
"You can have a little.  Or you can have it all."
